The first number is to celebrate 30 years of Gologorski Gallery's existence. As you know, Gologorski Gallery is one of the oldest private galleries in Poland.
What you probably don't know is that the gallery has been formally opened in 1982, but there was no official opening up until 1983. From then, lots of things happened – the gallery moved from one place to another, hundreds of artists exhibitied there and even political system changed, but the gallery was always open to the Clients. Hard to believe this place has such a history.
The second number celebrates 40 years of Marian Gołogórski's artistic career. There's a lot to say about his unique language of artistic expression. Marian Gołogórski is widely known as a sculptor, but he is also internationally renowned for his glass designs.
During the 80's, Marian Gołogórski was very actively present on Polish fashion market. He was considered to be quite an extravagant fashion designer. At the same time, he was working on his very eccentric jewellery collections. We will get you closer to all those important artistic episodes in Marian Gołogórski's career, so follow us. We'll suprise you!
To celebrate this very special time, we'll be bringing you closer to the facts and anegdotes from the gallery's history. In the meantime, we'd like to encourage all our Clients, Friends and Fans to take a minute and admire Marian Gołogórski's sculptures.
